Again and again we were reminded of how important it is to the Anthro customer that she feel an emotional connection to garment, particularly from the prints. Inspiration often came from foreign countries providing a little cultural escape for the designers and for the women in her clothes.

ERIN FETHERSTON: HEAD DESIGNER
The great fun and challenge of designing for Erin Fetherston was in the reinterpretation of feminine and romance. Never having worn pink, bows, or ruffles, or even considered herself romantic, Yuri had to find a way to maintain Erin's wonderfully whimsical brand aesthetic and marry it with her own clean, modern, tomboy. The result was two consecutive commercially and critically successful seasons.
